How did you come up with the idea for this product?
We started CareVego because we kept running into the same problems — travel, hot days, lost insulin, confusing cases, and the quiet stress of checking levels all the time. After 25+ years of daily injections and juggling life around T1d, we decided to stop fixing things temporarily and build something that actually helps. That’s how CareVego was born.
Products matter, but so does access. We push for tax-free insulin in India and partner with groups supporting kids who can’t afford proper care. Making care easier means designing better tools and fighting for fairer access.
What makes your product special?
We build what we wish we had. Every pocket, latch and insulation idea came from real moments: missed trains, long workdays, flights, and school trips. Our cases keep insulin safe, are easy to use, and don’t make your life harder. No gimmicks — just things that work when you need them.
What has been the best part of your experience?
Hearing from people who tell us their worries eased a bit — a parent who felt calmer on a long trip, a student who could travel without fear. That’s everything.
